Egypt achieved a new international milestone in beauty, tourism, and sustainability competitions after Egyptian contestant Youssef Ali won the title of Mister Eco International 2026 during the inaugural edition of the competition, held in Baguio City, Philippines. The event was hosted by the Baguio Country Club Hotel and featured strong participation from 21 countries worldwide.

Youssef Ali, a 30-year-old dentist, secured his victory after a stellar performance throughout the competition. He triumphed over all other contestants thanks to his impressive presence, cultural awareness, distinctive personality, and commitment to the competition’s mission of promoting environmental awareness, sustainability, and the role of youth in community service.

The closing ceremony witnessed fierce competition among the participants, with Egypt ultimately winning the title. France was crowned first runner-up, Italy second runner-up, the Philippines third runner-up, and India fourth runner-up, while the Dominican Republic came in fifth place.
This achievement is an extension of Eco International’s global successes, coming just weeks after Mexico was crowned Miss Eco International 2026. It underscores the organization’s growing international standing and its mission to promote sustainability and environmental awareness through youth.The Miss Eco International pageant was founded by Dr. Amal Rizk, the organization’s president and founder, who has successfully transformed it over the years into one of the most prominent international platforms combining beauty, culture, environmental action, and sustainable tourism.

Building on the immense success of Miss Eco International, Dr. Rizk launched the men’s version of the competition, Mister Eco International, with the aim of expanding its reach and engaging young people from around the world in spreading messages about environmental conservation and sustainability.
Dr. Rizk expressed her pride in the success of the first Mister Eco International edition, emphasizing that the competition is not solely about appearance, but rather focuses on selecting ambassadors capable of making a positive impact on their communities and contributing to environmental and humanitarian causes.For his part, Youssef Ali expressed his immense joy at winning the title, emphasizing that representing Egypt on the international stage was both an honor and a great responsibility.
He added that this achievement represents the culmination of a long and arduous effort and a genuine desire to present a positive image of Egyptian youth to the world

.With this victory, Egypt makes history as the first country to win the inaugural Mister Eco International title, adding another global achievement to Egypt’s record of international successes.
