Ambassador Berger’s addresses EU_OECD Sigma event‏‏

Head of the European Union to Egypt Ambassador Christian Berger addressed today the EU-OECD Sigma’s launch event for the Guide to Developing Secondary Legislation in Egypt. Berger said that as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of EU-funded SIGMA, it is important to note that regulatory reform is essential to ensure a conducive business environment and to achieve sustainable development.  He also thanked the ‘Egyptian Regulatory Reform and Development Activity (ERADA)’, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the Ministry of Justice, as well as all entities involved in the Guide’s development and application.
