Where the company organized a symposium at the Samir Ames Intercontinental Hotel to celebrate the five-year anniversary of the fruitful and successful cooperation between the Automotive Engineering Company (SMG) – the dealers of Porsche cars, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, Scania trucks… in addition to a long list of spare parts companies. The global original spare parts, led by the German (BOSCH) – with the prestigious German (Bosch) group,Through the activities of this symposium, the five years of success that extended between the two groups were highlighted, in addition to the presentation of the latest (spark plugs) Bosch, which bore the name “BOSCH EV“.
In turn, Eng. Ibrahim Ghattas welcomed all the distributors and success partners who had a great impact on the growth of the group’s business with all the brands they represent in the Egyptian market… and who wished them more successes in the coming years.
For his part, Mahmoud Sabry spoke about the strategic partnership between the Bosch International Group and the (SMG) group, which began in 2018, nearly a year after the Bosch International Group began establishing its regional office in Cairo, where the growth rate of the (SMG) business with Bosch reached more than for 1900%, which represents an unprecedented boom in the company’s business in the Egyptian market,
Sabri also referred to the huge global business volume of the BOSCH group, which exceeds 78.7 billion euros in all sectors in which it operates – including more than 58% in the automotive sector, while the number of the company’s employees around the world is more than 403,000 employees who They work in more than 440 representative offices and companies in 60 countries. He also pointed out that the Bosch Group’s business has been distributed among the world’s continents, with 52% for Europe, 31% for East Asia – China – Africa, and 16% for North and South America.
Sabry emphasized the top of Bosch’s work globally, especially with its registration of more than 900 patents in the fields of technology for developing the automotive sector, especially with (Soft Ware) operating programs, which have become more focused on in recent years than hardware and equipment (Hard Ware).
On the other hand, M. Michel Albert – Director of Training and Development at the Engineering Automotive Company (SMG) pointed to the importance of their recent creation of the SMG Academy, which in turn reinforced the group’s vision in engaging employees with learning and skills-raising programs, and focused on raising the levels of efficiency of the world’s employees, especially for the youth who recently joined the group.
Albert also stressed during his speech the importance of all consumers and customers using original spare parts in return for combating the spread of the use of counterfeit spare parts, which may cause many disasters and accidents.
At the end of the SMG-BOSCH symposium, the new Bosch spark plug was launched, which bore the name “BOSCH EV”, which provides high performance for internal combustion engines.
