Engineer Majed Saeed: These are the correct ways to protect against hacking on social media

Engineer Majed Saeed, a consultant for information systems and networks and a member of the Geneva Center for Protection from Cybercrime and Hacking of Accounts on Social Media, stated that he provided some important advice.

  We offer you some important steps to secure your accounts from hacking.

 Do not click on links whose source you know and trust, because it is the first step in infection with viruses.

 You must know your email address that is registered in your Facebook account.

 You should be able to log in to your email and do not forget to update your information on the email as well.

 We also advise you to always change or update your personal information, as this is one of the most important steps that you must follow in order to be able to secure your Facebook account.

Be sure to remove any email addresses or phone numbers that are not yours or that you no longer have access to.

  We also strongly recommend that you activate the two-factor authentication feature on Facebook so that this matter does not happen to you again.

 Your name on Facebook must be identical to your name on your personal ID or passport.

 Finally, do not open your Facebook account on any phone or computer belonging to someone else, regardless of who is the owner of this computer, because you do not know the extent to which the computer owner is aware of the aspects of protection.

 It is very important that your name on Facebook be exactly the same as your name on your passport or personal ID, because you will not be able to recover your Facebook account permanently if the account is closed as a result of ineligibility;  Especially after the fierce campaign launched by Facebook on fake accounts.
