The European Union in Egypt participates today in the session of the World Youth Forum

“The European Union Delegation to Egypt participated today at the World Youth Forum’s session titled “International Responsibility for Post-Conflict Ares of Reconstruction”. Counsellor Graziella Rizza spoke of the EU’s commitment to foster a culture of peace by engaging in peace mediation as part of preventive diplomacy. She also highlighted the EU efforts in reconstruction through the Humanitarian-Development-Peace nexus. Examples of EU support in various areas of the world in particular Gaza, Yemen and Lebanon was mentioned in the session which was attended by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, several Ministers, representatives from UN Organisation and youth groups.
