Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship Ylva Johansson visits Egypt on Monday‏‏

On Monday, 15 November, Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship Ylva Johansson will be in Egypt to participate in a high-level migration dialogue. The Commissioner will have meetings with high-level representatives from the Egyptian government. She will also meet with representatives from civil society and international organisations. The visit will be an opportunity to discuss joint priorities when addressing migration-related challenges and opportunities, in the short and longer term. It is part of the Commission’s partnership approach under the New Pact on Migration and Asylum.
