Receiving the Chargé d’Affairs of the Guinean Ambassador in Cairo, His Excellency Ambassador Foday Moussa Benjoura, Mr. Mohamed Mashadi, at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Republic of Guinea in Cairo, in an influential and effective dialogue meeting with a fruitful session to support relations between the two brotherly countries within the framework of popular diplomacy, exchange of cultures and bonds of rapprochement, and the consolidation of relations and historical roots to increase joint action and cooperation In peace files and various fields of developmentThe meeting witnessed an exchange of visions and viewpoints on regional and international issues of common concern, and an exchange of ideas and different points of view, of common interest and joint cooperation between the people of the African continent, who share many common values such as freedom and preserving their youth from intellectual deviation and aspiration for the progress of their peoples. The meeting dealt with a number of issues. Such as the intellectual security file and the positive and effective role in spreading awareness and culture in the African continent and strengthening cultural and economic relations within the framework of popular diplomacy, as well as an introductory introduction to the African Youth Initiative and its mechanisms of action Mr. Mohamed Mashadi said that it is our honor to meet my dear friend, His Excellency Ambassador Foday Musa Benjoura, Acting Ambassador of Guinea in Cairo, with a delegation of the youth of the African Youth Initiative. We have brothers for Egypt in the framework of this initiative. Follow-up, and if this indicates anything, it indicates the position of Guinea in Egypt and the strength of the brotherhood bonds between Egypt and Guinea. The depth of the Egyptian-Guinean relations is based on effective partnership and the consolidation of cooperation in various political and strategic fields. Mr. Mohamed Mashadi confirmed that Egypt and Guinea carry many common values such as freedom and aspiration for progress. Their peoples, which made the relations between the two countries distinguished and contributed to strengthening the old relationshipMr. Mohamed Mashadi also explained that Egypt has enjoyed a distinguished historical relationship with Guinea since the independence of the Republic of Guinea from France in October of 1958, and this was embodied in the strong friendship that brought together the two historical leaders, Gamal Abdel Nasser and Ahmed Sikotori, and Egypt supported the independence of Guinea based on the belief Egypt has the right of peoples to enjoy their freedom and rule themselves away from the control of the foreign colonialists, and about my happiness at this moment to talk about the struggle of nations and their attainment of independence and about my happiness and pride in this brotherly country, while I am talking about the struggle of the great Guinean people and the symbol of the struggle, the leader Ahmed Sekotouri, who is the real hero Who contributed with his great efforts and the sacrifice of his great people to the independence of his brotherly country. This symbol is a model of great values and ambitious goals for Africa and his country, and he was only seeking to achieve liberation from foreign domination and the ability to achieve it. The cooperative relations continued between the historical and strategic importance of Egypt’s African relations. The West Coast of Africa Since then, Egypt has been linked to the African continent, embodied in history, geography, common will, and unity of destiny. And that Egypt and Guinea hold many common values such as freedom and aspiration for the progress of their peoples, which made the relations between the two countries characterized by distinction and contributed to strengthening the old relationship.The symbols of the national movements in Egypt and Guinea, which will remain immortal with history, was an appreciation on the part of the state of Guinea in the most prominent historical relations between Egypt and Guinea since the era of the late presidents Gamal Abdel Nasser and Ahmed Sikotori, and the presence of the oldest university in Guinea bearing the name of President Abdel Nasser and the launch of the name of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi On its newest buildings during his visit to Guinea, it enhances confidence in the capabilities of the two peoples to move forward in plans for economic and social development and spread the culture of peace for which the United Nations General Assembly announced a program of action for it in 1999.He added that it must also be pointed out that the great people of Egypt, since 2013 when they staged their great revolution, which rallied around their national leadership, have achieved miraculous achievements by all measures represented in the opening of the new Suez Canal, in addition to the gigantic ambitious project to establish a new administrative capital that is comparable to the largest cities in the world. In terms of novelty and numbers, as well as an unprecedented network of roads and bridges, and the modernization of Egyptian national capabilities in various fields. In addition to caring for African youth in particular, holding several forums in Aswan for peace and sustainable development, and declaring Aswan the capital of African youth.He added that since then, Egypt has maintained its relations with its African brothers. Egypt begins a new era. We look forward to new horizons for cooperation during the era of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi towards improving Egyptian-African relations.
The countries of the African continent in the face of the challenges that lie in wait for us. Especially terrorism, organized crime, epidemics, environmental degradation and the danger of illegal immigration, as well as the continuous pursuit of sustainable development and investment in the African human element in various fields.Mr. Mohamed Mashadi also explained that these challenges require strenuous efforts to confront them, whether at the societal level through awareness of citizens of the importance of these responsibilities and issues, confronting them and preserving all their forms, or at the government level through the implementation of many projectsMajor challenges that the state is implementing or through legislative development, stressing that Egypt has distinguished national experiences in challenges, in a way that enables it to deal with such challenges with the utmost efficiency and find practical solutions to them by transforming such challenges into opportunities for Africans to benefit from. It is health and not sickness that we feel that drives African countries to increase readiness to deal with challenges and face any emergency they may be exposed to.On the cultural side, Mr. Muhammad Mashadi saidWe look forward to new horizons for cooperation between our two brotherly countries for the benefit of our peoples, who have many common denominators, especially in cultural heritage and interest in arts and sports, especially football, which the great Egyptian people participate in, and that since the inauguration of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Egypt has had mutual diplomatic relations with the Republic of Guinea since its independence from France in October of 1958. Since then, the two countries have strong ties of continuous cooperation and coordination. The Egyptian government provides continuous support to the sister country of Guinea in many fields, especially the development sectors and support for Guinean capabilities in the field of capacity building. Egypt was keen to support Guinean cadres through Training courses organized by the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with Africa in coordination with various government agencies in many fields such as health, judiciary, police, agriculture, education, training of diplomats and others. In addition to a large number of bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding Mashadi pointed out that this initiative is necessary to extend the bridge of cooperation between peoples, for the convergence of cultures, the exchange of civilizations, and for acquaintance, which is one of the greatest purposes of cultural diversity, as stipulated in the Holy Qur’an by saying, “And We made you into peoples and tribes so that you may know one another.”Pointing out that the initiative adopts the launch of activities for culture and the reduction of inequality and racism if it is against religion, color or nationality. We reject racism in any form and support the role of youth in Africa in supporting interdependence, cooperation and integration at all levels and various developmental fields in peace and development files.Pointing out that the initiative played a role in transferring and mobilizing support towards continental agreements and programs, as it drew the attention of the ambassador to the participating youth towards opportunities to learn about African affairs towards new horizons, raising the level of relations in the civil and cultural field, and increasing joint work and cooperation in peace files and various fields of development and investments in relations. The old cultural and political link between the two countries, pointing out that Al-Azhar Al-Sharif is spreading the moderate, moderate Islamic thought, and that most of the expatriates were educated in the corridors and colleges of Al-Azhar University.He stressed the necessity of highlighting the African youth initiative on the areas of cooperation between Egypt and Guinea in all sectors and strengthening it for the benefit of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.His Excellency Ambassador / Foday Musa Bangura saidThanks to Egypt’s leadership, government and people. Ambassador Foday Moussa Benjoura pointed to cohesion, as Egypt and Guinea are also twins, two brotherly peoples, and two friendly countries. Foday stressed that the relationship between Egypt and Guinea deepens by confirming the bonds between His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of friendship for the strength of this relationship, as well as He also transcends the appreciation, reverence and respect between Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and all the Guinean religious houses for the depth of those feelings, adding that the Egyptian-Guinean relations are rooted in the depths of African history, but rather in the depths of human history, as Africa is the cradle of history and civilization, and Egypt is the mother, as all civilizations or most of them Emanating from the ancient Egyptian civilization, the depth of the Egyptian-African relations of common bonds, stressing the depth of the Egyptian-Guinean relations, which were further strengthened by President El-Sisi’s visit to the State of Guinea in 2019 as an expression of the distinguished relations with Guinea and the West African region to establish peace and development.The ambassador praised the African youth initiative, which works to consolidate the African identity. The ambassador said that we need all parties on board the ship, especially youth, to prevent conflict, combat conflict, and youth play a vital role in supporting peace.For his part, “Professor Mohamed Mashadi” once again indicated that I express our happiness in the Egyptian society with your presence among us as brothers of Egypt, and we always assure our brothers and friends in the world that Egypt is proud of its origins, its national identity, its pride in its Arab and African affiliation, and that it is a country that is open to the world and seeks cooperation and partnership With everyone in my hands in preparation for that, we affirm that we are fully determined to do everything possible to strengthen Egyptian-African relations, especially Guinean ones, within the framework of popular diplomacy through the African Youth Initiative with the Guinean community in Cairo and the Embassy of the Republic of Guinea in Cairo in the near future.It was agreed to continue the efforts aimed at civil society in achieving the vision and its goals, the initiative in order to turn the goals into a tangible reality, and it was agreed to work the salon exchange between Egypt and Guinea under the title “Migrant Minds”.In order to graduate knowledgeable civil cadres, and Cairo will be a turning point in this mindset between us in both Egypt and the African continent, which will contribute to achieving the goals of Africa’s Agenda 2063 and achieving the hopes and aspirations of the peoples of the African continent.
